LEGISLATIVE RESOLUTION honoring Angela Kogler upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the 2015 Outstanding Service Award by the
Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize that the
quality and character of life in the communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those individ-
uals that are devoted to the welfare of the community and its citizenry;
and
WHEREAS, Individuals that give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its long-
standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Angela Kogler upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the
2015 Outstanding Service Award by the Schoharie County Chamber of
Commerce, to be celebrated at its annual business dinner, at The Best
Western Inn, Cobleskill, New York, on Friday, March 27, 2015; and
WHEREAS, Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce's annual business awards
recognize business people in Schoharie County who have been successful
in providing good products and services to clients and customers, and
who have consistently treated their business associates in a fair and
respectful manner; and
WHEREAS, A native of Buffalo, New York, Angela Kogler is the owner of
Upstate NY IT in Cobleskill, New York; she has over 25 years of IT
consulting experience; and
WHEREAS, Upstate NY IT provides numerous services, including high
quality informational business websites, site design, search engine
optimization, and maintenance to promote products and services; and
WHEREAS, In addition, Angela Kogler utilizes social media and network-
ing campaigns, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Constant Contact to
promote her clients' businesses; she is also knowledgeable about GoMoby
mobile smart phone browsers and tablets, and provides custom online
forms to provide clients with wider client bases; and
WHEREAS, Angela Kogler is proficient at many technical issues affect-
ing today's electronic world, including computer virus and spyware
removal, computer repairs, upgrades, networks, troubleshooting with
remote support, data recovery, online/cloud storage, small network
setup, QuickBooks, business solutions, network security, and work prod-
uct backups; and
WHEREAS, Angela Kogler offers multimedia services to her clients such
as graphic art and design projects, QR codes, photo scanning and resto-
ration, document scanning for storage, eBay sales and services for those
who wish to sell antiques and collectibles; and
WHEREAS, Active in her community, Angela Kogler is passionate about
women's issues, and is a past board member of the Schoharie County Cham-
ber of Commerce; she is currently a member of the board of directors of
Heart Springs Press; and
WHEREAS, In her spare time, Angela Kogler enjoys spending time with
her family, traveling, and photography; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout has been her husband, Gary Wyckoff, who
feels privileged to be a part of her life and rejoices in her achieve-
ments; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their profession and community,
and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence, certainly
have earned the recognition and applause of all citizens of this great
Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Angela Kogler upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the 2015 Outstanding Service Award by the Schoharie County Chamber of
Commerce; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be tran-
smitted to Angela Kogler.
