HONORING Judith Heller Green upon the occasion of
her designation for special recognition by the Port
Washington Parent Resource Center

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Judith Heller Green has given not only of her time and
energies but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and
consequently has been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Judith
Heller Green upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the Port Washington Parent Resource Center, to be
celebrated at its Annual Gala on Friday, March 24, 2017; and

WHEREAS, For more than 35 years, the Parent Resource Center (PRC)
has been an integral part of the Port Washington community, bringing
together families with young children to play, learn, grow, and make
life-long friendships; and

WHEREAS, With more than 15 years in the field of healthcare, Judith
Heller Green has experience in public policy implementation, managed
care strategies, revenue enhancements process improvements and capital
development; and

WHEREAS, Judith Heller Green currently serves as the Assistant Vice
President for Physician Recruitment at Northwell Health; in this
capacity, she has developed a concierge service for physicians
interested in joining the health system, as well as a partnership with
leadership to identify candidates who are strategically important to the
ambulatory network's growth; and

WHEREAS, As an adjunct professor at the Baruch's Zicklin School of
Business, Judith Heller Green teaches Emerging Topics in Healthcare,
introducing students to opportunities within the field and aligning them
with mentors to assist in their future growth and development; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to volunteerism,
Judith Heller Green serves such vital organizations as Make-A-Wish, Step
by Step Charitable Foundation, Eleni's Pop Of Color, and the Port
Washington Parent Resource Center; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Judith Heller Green has
displayed throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Judith Heller Green, that future generations may know and appreciate her

admirable character, her many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which she is held by her peers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Judith Heller Green upon the occasion of her designation for
special recognition by the Port Washington Parent Resource Center; and
be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Judith Heller Green.
