HONORING CSArch upon the occasion of its
designation for special recognition by Trinity
Alliance of the Capital Region on April 20, 2017

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to take note of
and publicly recognize those businesses within the State of New York
which have positively impacted their communities; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
CSArch upon the occasion of its designation for special recognition by
Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region, to be celebrated at its Annual
Gala, Time, Tradition, Trinity, on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at the New
York State Museum, Albany, New York; and

WHEREAS, Established in 1991, CSArch delivers building design
solutions that inspire learning and growth; its architects and engineers
promote a collaborative process which evokes exploration and discovery
to create designs that best reflect each project's unique goals; and

WHEREAS, Having used this approach since its inception, CSArch has
earned countless long-lasting professional relationships which have been
instrumental to its success; and

WHEREAS, CSArch has grown to a staff size of more than 80
professionals who truly value design excellence, and hard work; and

WHEREAS, With the belief that buildings are a legacy from one
generation to the next, CSArch brings in-house professionals in
architecture, MEP engineering, construction management, and energy
services to every project, combining experience with a collaborative
process that leads to impactful designs; and

WHEREAS, A true asset to its community, CSArch supports numerous
organizations through corporate contributions and volunteerism, some of
which include: Albany Promise, Albany Public Library, Beacon Sloop Club,
Boy Scouts of America, Boys and Girls Club of Albany, Capital City
Rescue Mission, Capital District YMCA, Capital Region Chamber of
Commerce, COINS Foundation, Community Health Charities, Habitat for
Humanity, Historic Albany Foundation, LaSalle School for Boys, Salvation
Army, Preservation League of New York State, St. Catherine's Center for
Children, Two Together Reading Program and United Way; and

WHEREAS, In addition, CSArch Principal, Edwin C. Anker IV, has
modeled for Trinity Alliance's Rock Your Style event in both 2014 and
2016, personally raising substantial funds for the agency; and

WHEREAS, Over its distinguished 26 year history, CSArch has
demonstrated continuous service to the residents and communities which
it serves; and

WHEREAS, The success of CSArch is in direct correlation to the
efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and always has been,

characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the organization and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to CSArch; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
businesses of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be recognized and applauded by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor CSArch upon the occasion of its designation for special
recognition by Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region on April 20, 2017;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to CSArch.
