HONORING Blakely C. Page upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of The Monsignor Thomas G.
Hagerty Humanitarian Award by HeartShare Human
Services of New York

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Blakely C. Page has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Blakely C.
Page upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of The Monsignor
Thomas G. Hagerty Humanitarian Award by HeartShare Human Services of New
York to be celebrated at its Spring Gala and Auction on Thursday, March
30, 2017, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City, New York;
and

WHEREAS, Since 1914, HeartShare Human Services of New York has been
making a world of difference in its community as a nonprofit human
services agency dedicated to improving the lives of people in need of
special services and support by helping these individuals develop to
their fullest potential and lead meaningful and enriched lives in the
community; and

WHEREAS, Blakely C. Page is both the Founder and Chief Executive
Officer of Spouting Rock Financial Partners, a Merchant Bank and Asset
Management firm based in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania; in this capacity, he
helps clients achieve their goals, and helps his community by building a
firm, brand and legacy based on integrity, quality and innovation; and

WHEREAS, With the passion and drive to assist and support inner city
adolescents in and around their communities through education, Blakely
C. Page was a mentor for the New York City Student Scholarship Fund; he
also served on the Board of Friends of Nick, a non-profit which provides
scholarships for New York City students based on their character; and

WHEREAS, Currently, Blakely C. Page serves as a member of the
Melmark Charitable Foundation Board, an organization which serves
children, adults and their families affected by a broad range of
intellectual disabilities, and provides evidence-based educational,
vocational, clinical, residential, healthcare and rehabilitative
services; in this position, he oversees and stewards funds raised by the
Foundation to ensure proper and appropriate allocation, as well as
remaining true to its mission; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Blakely C. Page has stood constant
in dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife, Lindsey and their
three children, all of whom feel privileged to be a part of his life and
rejoice in his achievements; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Blakely C. Page has displayed
throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Blakely C. Page upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of The Monsignor Thomas G. Hagerty Humanitarian Award by HeartShare
Human Services of New York; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Blakely C. Page.
