Senate Resolution No. 1552

HONORING David Casey upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the Sullivan
County Democrat 2017 Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, David Casey has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special recognition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor David Casey
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
Sullivan County Democrat 2017 Men at Work Edition; and

WHEREAS, A resident of Narrowsburg, New York, David Casey has been
the owner of Casey Builders for the past 11 years; and

WHEREAS, David Casey graduated from Narrowsburg Central School and
went on to study Architectural and Construction Technology at Orange
County Community College; and

WHEREAS, Prior to operating his own successful business, David Casey
worked for Lander's River Trips and Mercado Construction; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to his
community, David Casey has been an active member of the Narrowsburg Fire
Department for two decades; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and
community service, a period of constructive involvement, David Casey has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, With him throughout has been his wife of 10 years, Vicky,
who has shown him love and support and rejoices in his many
achievements; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor David Casey upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the Sullivan County Democrat 2017 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to David Casey.
