HONORING Patricia Farmer upon the occasion of her
retirement after 31 years of dedicated service to
Carthage Area Hospital

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in communities across New York State
are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
individuals who are devoted to the welfare of their community and its
citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Patricia "Patty" Farmer upon the occasion of her retirement after 31
years of dedicated service to Carthage Area Hospital; and

WHEREAS, Patty Farmer, a native of Natural Bridge, New York,
completed her training as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Carthage Area
Hospital and her life has been marked by her hard work and dedicated
service to the nursing home residents in her care; and

WHEREAS, She provided three decades of faithful service and
dedication at Carthage Area Hospital Skilled Nursing Unit, beginning her
career in September of 1986; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Patty Farmer has displayed
throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, In recognition of her dedication, commitment and efforts on
behalf of her community and her profession, it is the custom of this
Legislative Body to extend its highest commendation to Patty Farmer;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Patricia Farmer upon the occasion of her retirement after 31 years
of dedicated service at Carthage Area Hospital; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Patricia Farmer.
