HONORING Kasia Zalewska upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of a Young Professionals
Award by the Sullivan County Democrat

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those young adults within the great Empire State who have
made strong contributions to their communities and who serve as role
models for their peers; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Kasia Zalewska upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of a
Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and

WHEREAS, Kasia Zalewska was selected for this esteemed honor in
recognition of her hard work, ambition, and creativity, as well as for
her profound impact in and around the community of Sullivan County; and

WHEREAS, Kasia Zalewska began her illustrious career with Bethel
Woods Center for the Arts in 2010, interning as part of her curriculum
for the Academy of Finance at Monticello High School; from Community
Outreach Assistant, she transitioned into the Corporate Partnerships and
Events Coordinator; and

WHEREAS, The internship and positions that followed eventually
developed into a more permanent role as Festivals Coordinator where she
is responsible for planning such events as the farmers markets, wine and
craft festivals, and "A Gathering at Bethel Woods"; and

WHEREAS, Kasia Zalewski holds a Bachelor's degree in Management with
a concentration in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from the
SUNY New Paltz School of Business; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kasia Zalewska upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of a Young Professionals Award by the Sullivan County Democrat; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kasia Zalewska.
