HONORING Justin Fuzi upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Youth Engaged in
Service Award by the Town of Tonawanda Youth Board

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to call attention
to the dedicated efforts of those individuals from across the State of
New York who volunteer their time and energies in service to the
community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Justin Fuzi upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Youth Engaged in Service Award by the Town of Tonawanda Youth Board, to
be celebrated at its 40th Annual Awards Dinner on Thursday, May 11,
2017, at the Town of Tonawanda Senior Center in Tonawanda, New York; and

WHEREAS, Justin Fuzi, of Tonawanda, New York, has achieved
recognition for exemplary volunteer service by being named one of the
Top 5 Youth Engaged in Service by the Town of Tonawanda Youth Board, for
his 176.25 hours of service; and

WHEREAS, As a young man of superlative ability, Justin Fuzi has
established a high standard of community service, purposefulness of
life, and sense of responsibility rarely achieved in youthful years; and

WHEREAS, Justin Fuzi has been called upon to contribute his time and
talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has always given
of himself unstintingly; and

WHEREAS, The success of the State of New York, the strength of our
communities, and the vitality of American society depend, in great
measure, upon the dedication of young people, like Justin Fuzi, who use
their considerable talents and resources to serve others; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Justin Fuzi has displayed
throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of the great State of New York; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Justin Fuzi upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Youth Engaged in Service Award by the Town of Tonawanda Youth Board;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Justin Fuzi.
