HONORING Michael Reilly upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the 2017 Paul Ehmann
Presidential Award by the Addictions Care Center of
Albany, Inc. on May 10, 2017
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are reflective of the concerned and dedicated efforts of those
organizations and individuals who would devote themselves to the welfare
of the community and its citizenry; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Michael Reilly upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
2017 Paul Ehmann Presidential Award by the Addictions Care Center of
Albany, Inc. to be celebratred at its 5th Annual Healing Hearts
Breakfast on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Normanside Country Club, in
Delmar, New York; and
WHEREAS, Since 1967, The Addictions Care Center of Albany, Inc.
(ACCA) has been strengthening the lives and improving the futures of
thousands of individuals in its community; through intensive, proactive
programs customized to individual needs, ACCA touches the lives of more
than 10,000 people throughout the Capital Region each year; and
WHEREAS, Through its core values of respect, compassion, diversity,
integrity and excellence, ACCA empowers individuals, families and
communities to advance beyond addiction and overcome barriers to healing
through an array of quality, compassionate care and prevention programs;
and
WHEREAS, Michael Reilly is receiving this presitigous award for his
exceptional generosity, compassion and civic vision, as well as his
continued support of the noble mission of the Addictions Care Center of
Albany; and
WHEREAS, Michael Reilly holds the esteemed title of Managing
Principal of Integro USA, a global insurance brokerage and specialty
risk management firm driven to deliver dedicated, quality insurance
brokerage services; prior to this position, he owned and operated Energy
Insurance Brokers in East Greenbush, New York; and
WHEREAS, For many years, Michael Reilly has been a steadfast friend
and member of The Addiction Care Center of Albany, where he has served
on various committees, and has been instrumental in guiding and
strengthening this vital organization; and
WHEREAS, Currently, Michael Reilly holds the position of President
of The Addiction Care Foundation's Board of Trustees; and
WHEREAS, Proud of his heritage, Michael Reilly serves as the
Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Irish American Heritage
Museum; and
WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his three children, all of
whom have shown him love and support and rejoice in his many
achievements; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Michael Reilly upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the 2017 Paul Ehmann Presidential Award by the Addictions Care Center
of Albany, Inc.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Michael Reilly.
