HONORING Kacie Allison upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the Orange
County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a
2017 Senior Scholar-Athlete

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to act, in accord
with its long-standing traditions, to honor the achievements of its
young citizens and leaders of tomorrow, whose character and
accomplishments exemplify the ideals and values cherished by this great
State and Nation; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Kacie
Allison upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as a 2017 Senior
Scholar-Athlete; this momentous occasion was celebrated with a Breakfast
on Thursday, April 20, 2017, at Kuhl's Highland House, Middletown, New
York; and

WHEREAS, Academically and athletically, Kacie Allison has
distinguished herself as a young woman of superlative ability, talent,
and maturity, establishing standards of excellence and achievement,
purposefulness of life, and responsibility rarely achieved in youthful
years; and

WHEREAS, Kacie Allison, a student at Tri-Valley Jr./Sr. High School
in Grahamville, New York, ranked 2nd in her class with a 94.03 GPA; she
participated in numerous sports including softball and basketball; in
addition, she serves as the Captain of her softball team; and

WHEREAS, A member of National Honor Society, Chorus, Varsity
Athletic Club and FFA, Kacie Allison plans to attend American
International College and major in sports management; and

WHEREAS, Dedicated to her community, Kacie Allison volunteers her
time and energy as both a youth basketball coach and a youth softball
coach; and

WHEREAS, An outstanding role model for her classmates, Kacie Allison
has brought honor to her family, school, and community; and

WHEREAS, Kacie Allison may stand with pride in her achievements,
experiencing the satisfaction of her labors and the joy of her
accomplishments, eager to face the challenge of new experiences as she
continues her education; and

WHEREAS, Kacie Allison represents the potential inherent in our most
precious resource, our youth; this Legislative Body is pleased to honor
this young woman, recognizing her achievements and the promise of her
future; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kacie Allison upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association as

a 2017 Senior Scholar-Athlete, and to wish her well in her future
endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kacie Allison.
