HONORING Crista Dashnaw upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Blue Vase Award by
Farmers Insurance

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to take note of
and publicly acknowledge individuals who have distinguished themselves
through their exemplary careers, accomplishments and purposeful lives of
service to their community; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Crista Dashnaw upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the
Blue Vase Award by Farmers Insurance celebrated during their annual
conference held at Salvatore's Grand Hotel; and

WHEREAS, The Blue Vase Award is presented to a select group of
Farmers Insurance Agency Owners who demonstrate exceptional service and
sales in the area of life insurance; and

WHEREAS, A Kenmore native, Crista Dashnaw is owner of the Crista
Dashnaw Agency representing Farmers Insurance; and

WHEREAS, Crista Dashnaw has given not only of her time and energies,
but also of her competence, intelligence and knowledge and consequently
has been designated for this special honor; and

WHEREAS, With a background in insurance for over 22 years, Crista
Dashnaw uses a consultative approach to educate thousands of people
about the importance of life insurance, what the best insurance plan
would be for them and their families, and what their insurance coverage
means; and

WHEREAS, In January 2016, Crista Dashnaw and her longtime friend
opened their own insurance agency in Kenmore; together, their work ethic
and values help people find the insurance coverage that best fits their
lifestyle; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Crista Dashnaw upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the Blue Vase Award by Farmers Insurance; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Crista Dashnaw.
