CONGRATULATING the Victor High School Boys Varsity
Lacrosse Team and Coach Jim Andre upon the occasion
of capturing the New York State Class B Championship

WHEREAS, Individual and team championships are highly sought after
in high school sports; this Legislative Body commends rare athletic
achievements and pays special recognition to those who pursue such
excellence and become examples for the youth of this great Empire State;
and

WHEREAS, Athletic competition helps to enhance both the moral and
physical development of young athletes, preparing them for the future by
instilling in them the importance of teamwork, encouraging a standard of
healthy living, and developing a sense of fair play and competition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate the
Victor High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team and Coach Jim Andre upon
the occasion of capturing the New York State Class B Championship; to
the praise and applause of their excited fans, the Blue Devils are
currently on an 18 game postseason winning streak; and

WHEREAS, Ranked 20th in the nation by U.S. Lacrosse Magazine, the
Victor High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team is just the third team in
New York State history to win three straight state titles; and

WHEREAS, Proudly donning the school's colors of blue and gold,
family, friends, and the community at large loyally and enthusiastically
supported the Blue Devils throughout their journey as they ended their
season with an impressive 19-3 overall record; and

WHEREAS, In a sport such as lacrosse, which demands athletic
prowess, speed and agility, Head Coach Jim Andre and his expert coaching
staff, Assistant Coaches Mark Foeder, Mike Ierlan and Tony Pezzimenti,
worked hard to hone the skills of this championship team, teaching these
outstanding athletes lessons which will prove invaluable both on and off
the field; and

WHEREAS, Coach Jim Andre and all of the outstanding athletes on the
Victor High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team have clearly utilized
dedication, determination and teamwork in providing a lasting
contribution to the spirit of excellence which is a tradition of their
school; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the members of the Victor High School Boys Varsity Lacrosse
Team: Mitch Cain, Michael Gilbert, Connor Keenan, Clark Andre, Matt
Gardner, Joey Colyer, Tanner Hay, Sam Lambert, Andrew Russell, Kevin
Caggiano, Joey Pogoda, Kyler Roth, Eric Hernandez, Griffin Randall, Cam
Hotto, Alexander Mabbett, Riley Hauf, Mitch Rydzynski, Joey Pezzimenti,
Anthony Pezzimenti, Zack Estabrooks, Chayse Ierlan, Alex Hernandez, Nick
Saraceno, Richie Pierpont, Tucker Hill, Trae Papke, Jeremy deNormand,
John Garbeck, Jeremy Schopinsky, Camden Hay, Sutton Boland, Nick
Popielec, Mike Novitsky, Ben Yacavonis, Jack LaRue, Regan Endres, Liam

Haller and Matt Potter; Head Coach Jim Andre; and Assistant Coaches Mark
Foeder, Mike Ierlan and Tony Pezzimenti as well as game day stat manager
Kelli Kunick on their outstanding season and overall team record; and be
it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the members of the Victor High School Boys Varsity
Lacrosse Team, Head Coach Jim Andre, Assistant Coaches Mark Foeder, Mike
Ierlan, Tony Pezzimenti and Game Day Statistician, Kelli Kunick.
