COMMEMORATING the 40th Anniversary of Home
Abstract Title Insurance Company

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Home Abstract Title Insurance
Company; and

WHEREAS, Home Abstract Title Insurance Company facilitates and
streamlines real estate transactions by providing comprehensive title
insurance protection; and

WHEREAS, Founded by Nunzio D'Addona and his son Robert on November
12, 1977, Home Abstract Title Insurance Company quickly became the
largest Title Insurance Agency in Brooklyn; and

WHEREAS, Today, the company remains family owned and operated with
the third generation of D'Addonas, Mark and Gregory, and a loyal staff,
many of whom have been with the company since the "Nunzio days"; and

WHEREAS, Since 1977, the title insurance industry has undergone
tremendous changes but Home Abstract Title Insurance Company continues
to provide unbeatable service to its clients; its core foundation is to
treat each client as a person, making them an extended member of its
family; and

WHEREAS, For 40 years of dedicated service to its clients, Home
Abstract Title Insurance Company received their Best Practice
certification as complying with the highest level of practices and
procedures in the title industry, an honor which has only been bestowed
upon a dozen title insurance agents in New York State; and

WHEREAS, Home Abstract Title Insurance Company also takes pride in
supporting numerous organizations in its community, including Heartshare
Human Services and St. Anselm Catholic Academy; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 40th Anniversary of Home Abstract Title Insurance
Company; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Home Abstract Title Insurance Company.
