COMMENDING Suzanne Lange Ahmed upon the occasion
of her designation for special recognition by the
2017 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Suzanne Lange Ahmed has given not only of her time and
energies but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and
consequently has been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Suzanne
Lange Ahmed upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition
by the 2017 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women and
Women in Business; and

WHEREAS, Suzanne Lange Ahmed earned her masters of Science degree in
Nursing Administration, and is Board Certified is case management, ACLS,
and BLS; and

WHEREAS, With 25 years of experience, Suzanne Lange Ahmed is
employed at the Catskill Regional Medical Center; she serves as the
Administrator of Nursing Operations and care management Services; her
duties include oversight of Medical Surgical, Critical Care,
Perioperative, Case Management, RISE, and Nursing Administration; and

WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, Imran, her
daughter, Melissa, and her grandson, Ryan, who have all shown her love
support and rejoice in her achievements; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Suzanne Lange Ahmed has
displayed throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Suzanne Lange Ahmed upon the occasion of her designation for
special recognition by the 2017 Sullivan County Democrat honoring
Professional Women and Women in Business; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Suzanne Lange Ahmed.
