COMMENDING Devon Spagnoli upon the occasion of her
designation for special recognition by the 2017
Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women
and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Devon Spagnoli has given not only of her time and energies
but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Devon
Spagnoli upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the 2017 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women and Women
in Business; and

WHEREAS, Devon Spagnoli earned her Associates degree in Human
Services and is a NHU medical tract graduate; for the past 18 years, she
has worked at New Hope Community, and currently holds the position of
House Manager; and

WHEREAS, As House Manager, Devon Spagnoli manages and assists with
the daily functioning of a home for people with intellectual and
developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, Devon Spagnoli, who is the Vice President of the charitable
organization A Dose of Kindness, was the recipient of the Extraordinary
Caregiver Award; she feels great satisfaction training new staff to make
a difference in her profession; and

WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her boyfriend, Drew Harman,
her son, Ethan Spagnoli, and her step-daughter, Raegan Harman, who have
all shown her support and rejoice in her achievements; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Devon Spagnoli has displayed
throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Devon Spagnoli upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the 2017 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Devon Spagnoli.
