HONORING Kacey Morabito Grean upon the occasion of
her Installation as Grand Marshal of the Peekskill
St. Patrick's Day Parade

WHEREAS, The State of New York is proud to acknowledge its esteemed
citizens who have distinguished themselves in their community; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean will be installed as Grand Marshal of
the 2018 Peekskill St. Patrick's Day Parade during a dinner to be held
at the Mansion at Colonial Terrace on March 4, 2018; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean is a popular host on WHUD, and has
co-hosted "Mike and Kacey in the Morning" for 16 years; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean also hosts "Shine On: The Health and
Happiness Show," "Health and Happiness Minutes," "Good News," and
"What's Going On" on WHUD; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean also operates Shine On Reiki; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean is a motivational speaker with a
one-woman show, "Everything I Need to Know I Learned on the Radio;" and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean hosts the "A Day of Health and
Happiness" women's forums; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean contributes her time to countless
organizations, including Support Connection, CHOP; Caring for the
Homeless of Peekskill, PARC, Paramount Hudson Valley, Making Strides,
The Alzheimer's Association, Putnam SPCA, Westchester SPCA, The Giordano
Foundation for Women, Friars of the Atonement at Graymor, Girl Scouts,
and the Boy Scouts; and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean married contractor Mike Grean in 2008;
and

WHEREAS, Kacey Morabito Grean is a wonderful role model and
excellent selection as Grand Marshal; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Kacey Morabito Grean upon the occasion of her Installation as
Grand Marshal of the Peelskill St. Patrick's Day Parade; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Kacey Morabito Grean.
