COMMENDING Randolph Cohen, MD, FACOG upon the
occasion of his retirement after 38 years of
distinguished service in the field of women's
healthcare
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
pay tribute to those individuals within the medical field who
distinguish themselves through professional excellence and who have made
significant contributions to the quality of life of citizens in the
State of New York; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Randolph Cohen, MD, FACOG upon the occasion of his retirement
after 38 years of distinguished service in the field of women's
healthcare; and
WHEREAS, After graduating from the New York Medical College, Dr.
Randolph Cohen completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at
Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center; and
WHEREAS, Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Randolph
Cohen has served the women and families of New York for almost four
decades; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Randolph Cohen practiced at Crystal Run Healthcare, and
was affiliated with Catskill Regional Medical Center and Orange Regional
Medical Center; and
WHEREAS, An ACOG Fellow, Dr. Randolph Cohen has been the recipient
of numerous awards and accolades including the 2012 and 2013 CMS Stage 1
EHR Awards; and
WHEREAS, Throughout his esteemed career, Dr. Randolph Cohen served
his patients with intelligence and caring dedication, continuously
striving to effectively fulfill the duties of his position; and
WHEREAS, Sincerely loved and greatly respected by all those with
whom he worked, Dr. Randolph Cohen will be remembered for his honesty,
integrity, keen sense of duty and ability to show a unique grasp of
human problems in his official acts; and
WHEREAS, As a leader in his profession, Dr. Randolph Cohen has
proven himself to be a great asset to medicine and to the health and
welfare of the citizens of the State of New York; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Randolph Cohen, MD, FACOG upon the occasion of his retirement
after 38 years of distinguished service in the field of women's
healthcare, and to wish him continued success in all his future
endeavors; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Randolph Cohen, MD, FACOG.
