COMMENDING Cala's Kitchen & Catering upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the 2017
Small Business of the Year Award by the Evans-Brant
Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, In New York, the dedication and entrepreneurial spirit of
small businesses are vital to the prosperity and vibrancy of every
community across this great State and Nation; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing the economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Cala's Kitchen & Catering upon the occasion of its designation
as recipient of the 2017 Small Business of the Year Award by the
Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce, to be celebrated at its Annual
President's Award and Recognition Dinner on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at
the Evans Center Banquet & Conference Facility, Evans, New York; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to the
community, Cala's Kitchen & Catering has been a staunch supporter of
countless local events and fundraisers throughout its many years in
business; and

WHEREAS, Cala's Kitchen & Catering has demonstrated continuous
service to the residents and communities which it serves; and

WHEREAS, The success of Cala's Kitchen & Catering is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals and businesses of such noble aims and accomplishments are
brought to our attention, they should be recognized and applauded by all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Cala's Kitchen & Catering upon the occasion of its designation
as recipient of the 2017 Small Business of the Year Award by the
Evans-Brant Chamber of Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Cala's Kitchen & Catering.
