COMMENDING Jackie Rutledge upon the occasion of
her designation for special recognition by the 2016
Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women
and Women in Business

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Jackie Rutledge has given not only of her time and energies
but also of her competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special honor; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to commend Jackie
Rutledge upon the occasion of her designation for special recognition by
the 2016 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional Women and Women
in Business; and

WHEREAS, Jackie Rutledge earned her Associate's degree in Dental
Hygiene from SUNY Orange; she furthered her education by obtaining her
Bachelor of Arts degree in both Biology and Business; she is also
certified in CPR-BLS and local anesthesia and nitrous oxide delivery;
and

WHEREAS, For over 20 years, Jackie Rutledge has worked in the dental
field; today, she serves as both a Dental Hygienist and Office Manager
for Dr. Maureen Whipple, D.M.D.; in this capacity, she answers and
handles phone calls, schedules appointments and treatments, processes
insurance applications and payments, and orders supplies; and

WHEREAS, When she is not working, Jackie Rutledge enjoys spending
time with her family, and likes to stay in shape by running and skiing
in the winter; she also volunteers at her children's various clubs; and

WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her husband, Brad, and her
two children, Annabelle and Matthew, all of whom feel privileged to be a
part of her life and rejoice in her achievements; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Jackie Rutledge has displayed
throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Jackie Rutledge upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by the 2016 Sullivan County Democrat honoring Professional
Women and Women in Business; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Jackie Rutledge.
