HONORING Mark Peters upon the occasion of his
designation for special recognition by the Sullivan
County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Mark Peters has given not only of his time and energies but
also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently has
been designated for special recognition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Mark Peters
upon the occasion of his designation for special recognition by the
Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition; and

WHEREAS, A resident of Jeffersonville, New York, Mark Peters
graduated from Delaware Valley Central School before completing Bible
college in 1986; and

WHEREAS, Mark Peters began his illustrious career 40 years ago, and
currently serves as a Plumbing and Heating Technician at Peters Plumbing
and Heating; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to his faith and
community, Mark Peters is a preacher at the Morningstar Christian
Fellowship in Kingston, New York; he has also done missionary work in
Honduras, Nicaragua and Africa; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his professional and
community service, a period of constructive involvement, Mark Peters has
stood constant in dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, With him throughout have been his wife and three daughters,
who have all shown him love and support and rejoice in his many
achievements; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Mark Peters upon the occasion of his designation for special
recognition by the Sullivan County Democrat 2018 Men at Work Edition;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Mark Peters.
