HONORING Keith Fisher upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Michael J. Dundon
Service to Youth Award by the Town of Hamburg

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to publicly
recognize those extraordinary individuals who have made contributions to
the success and progress of society in the course of their life's work;
and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Keith Fisher upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Michael J. Dundon Service to Youth Award by the Town of Hamburg, to be
celebrated at its 30th Annual Youth Bureau Service Awards & Recognition
Banquet at Michael's Catering and Banquets, Hamburg, New York; and

WHEREAS, The Town of Hamburg Youth Bureau is a branch of the
Department of Youth, Recreation and Senior Services (YRSS); and

WHEREAS, Keith Fisher will receive this auspicious award for best
exemplifying the service of the late longtime executive director of the
Youth Bureau, as well as for exhibiting the highest degree of
professionalism and dedication to his work with Hamburg youth; and

WHEREAS, Called upon to contribute his time and talents to countless
civic and charitable endeavors, Keith Fisher has always given of himself
unstintingly; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of his community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Keith Fisher has stood constant in
dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Keith Fisher has displayed
throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, The unity of our State and Nation is built upon the
compassion of individuals such as Keith Fisher who uphold the values of
community life and who, through their great actions, epitomize the best
of humanity; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent
of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Keith Fisher, that future generations may know and appreciate his
admirable character, his many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which he is held by his peers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Keith Fisher upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the Michael J. Dundon Service to Youth Award by the Town of Hamburg; and
be it further


RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Keith Fisher.
