HONORING Jeanne Stegmeier upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Community
Involvement Award by the Town of Hamburg Chamber of
Commerce on April 19, 2018

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize and
honor those distinguished citizens who would devote their life's work
and purpose to community service, contributing to the welfare of the
citizens of their communities and this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Jeanne Stegmeier upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the Community Involvement Award by the Town of Hamburg Chamber of
Commerce celebrated at its Annual Member Recognition Dinner on Thursday,
April 19, 2018, at Brierwood Country Club in Hamburg, New York; and

WHEREAS, Jeanne Stegmeier is receiving this prestigious award for
her steadfast and unremitting commitment to her community; and

WHEREAS, Jeanne Stegmeier has been called upon to contribute her
time and talents to countless civic and charitable endeavors and has
always given of herself unstintingly; currently, she is a vital member
of the Town of Hamburg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors; and

WHEREAS, Throughout the entire period of her community service, a
period of constructive involvement, Jeanne Stegmeier has stood constant
in dignity, good grace and humor; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Jeanne Stegmeier has
displayed throughout her life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the well-being and vitality of their community and have shown a
long and sustained commitment to excellence certainly have earned the
recognition and applause of all the citizens of this great Empire State;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Jeanne Stegmeier upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the Community Involvement Award by the Town of Hamburg Chamber of
Commerce on April 19, 2018; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Jeanne Stegmeier.
