CONGRATULATING Mark Brouillette upon the occasion
of his retirement after 35 years of distinguished
service to Massena Memorial Hospital

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
congratulate Mark Brouillette upon the occasion of his retirement after
35 years of distinguished service to Massena Memorial Hospital; and

WHEREAS, Mark Brouillette, Senior Director of Professional Practices
and Ancillary Services, began his 35-year career of service at Massena
Memorial Hospital in 1983, when he joined the hospital's staff as
Director of Environmental Services; and

WHEREAS, In 1995, he was promoted to Assistant Administrator for
Support Services; and

WHEREAS, In 1996, Mark Brouillette was again promoted to Senior
Director of Ancillary Services, and in 2015, he was given the additional
responsibility of overseeing the hospital's growing staff of physician
practices; and

WHEREAS, During his tenure his many accomplishments have included
spearheading the installation of the first 3T MRI at Massena Memorial,
the first of its kind north of Albany, and helping the hospital expand
its services with the establishment of clinics in Brasher, Norfolk and
Louisville; and

WHEREAS, Mark Brouillette has clearly had an enduring impact on his
fellow workers, as well as on the community-at-large, and accordingly
merits recognition and applause for his impressive improvements to his
community and dedication to others; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend the
efforts of those individuals who work to support their communities by
providing their skills and talents to helping others; now, therefore, be
it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate Mark Brouillette upon the occasion of his retirement after
35 years of distinguished service as Senior Director of Professional
Practices and Ancillary Services at Massena Memorial Hospital, and to
wish him continued success in all his future endeavors; and be it
further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Mark Brouillette.
