HONORING Jaime Pichette upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the Citizen of the Year
Award by the Town of Tonawanda Police Club on
February 10, 2017
WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energy and serve the
best interest of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration and
cannot be sufficiently extolled; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to acknowledge
outstanding individuals whose personal lives, personal endeavors, and
community service are an example and inspiration to their colleagues,
friends and family; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Jaime
Pichette upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the
Citizen of the Year Award by the Town of Tonawanda Police Club
celebrated at a dinner held on Friday, February 10, 2017, at the
Classics Five Banquet and Conference Center in Amherst, New York; and
WHEREAS, Individuals and organizations devoted to improving the
quality of life for others, enabling them to build lives of dignity and
self-worth are deserving of the highest praise and recognition; and
WHEREAS, From time to time, society calls upon these individuals and
organizations to be recognized for the significance of their
contributions and efforts to assist others in developing the skills
necessary to be successful, productive citizens; and
WHEREAS, Those individuals, who have given so selflessly of their
skills and dedication, are worthy and due full recognition for their
valued contributions on behalf of their country and its ideals,
upholding the patriotic character and principled ideals of organizations
in service to their fellowman; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Jaime Pichette upon the occasion of her designation as recipient
of the Citizen of the Year Award by the Town of Tonawanda Police Club on
February 10, 2017; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Jaime Pichette.
