HONORING Edward Reichard upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the Recognition Award by
the Town of Tonawanda Police Club on February 10,
2017

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Edward
Reichard upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the
Recognition Award by the Town of Tonawanda Police Club celebrated at a
dinner held on Friday, February 10, 2017, at the Classics Five Banquet
and Conference Center in Amherst, New York; and

WHEREAS, There are certain outstanding members of our community who,
through their selfless commitment and dedication, have served to better
the quality of life in our community and have had a measurable positive
impact on the lives of its residents; and

WHEREAS, Edward Reichard is such a person that should be recognized
for the significance of his contributions and efforts to assist others
in developing the skills necessary to better the Town of Tonawanda and
the Tonawanda Police Club; and

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Edward Reichard upon the occasion of his designation as recipient
of the Recognition Award by the Town of Tonawanda Police Club on
February 10, 2017; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Edward Reichard.
