CONGRATULATING the Maine-Endwell Boys High School
Swimming Team and Coach Chris Verity upon the
occasion of winning the Section IV Class B Swimming
and Diving Championship

WHEREAS, Individual and team championships are highly sought after
in high school sports; this Legislative Body commends rare athletic
achievements and pays special recognition to those who pursue such
excellence and become examples for the youth of this great Empire State;
and

WHEREAS, Athletic competition helps to enhance both the moral and
physical development of young athletes, preparing them for the future by
instilling in them the importance of teamwork, encouraging a standard of
healthy living, and developing a sense of fair play and competition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to congratulate the
Maine-Endwell Boys High School Swimming Team and Coach Chris Verity upon
the occasion of winning the Section IV Class B Swimming and Diving
Championship; and

WHEREAS, During the Section IV Class B Tournament on Saturday,
February 18, 2017, the Maine-Endwell Boys High School Team scored up 661
points to beat the Oswego Boys High School Swim Team by a 257-point
margin; and

WHEREAS, In sports such as swimming and diving, which demands
athletic prowess, speed and agility, Head Coach Chris Verity and his
skilled coaching staff worked hard to hone the skills of this
championship team, teaching these outstanding athletes lessons which
will prove invaluable both on and off the field; and

WHEREAS, Coach Chris Verity and all of the outstanding athletes on
the Maine-Endwell High School Swimming and Diving Team have clearly
utilized dedication, determination and teamwork in providing a lasting
contribution to the spirit of excellence which is a tradition of their
school; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
congratulate the members of the Maine-Endwell High School Swimming Team:
Casey Alston, Thomas Beebe, Anthony Bonanno, Jay Bradley, Noah
Brizzolara, Ryan Bryla, Evan Bryla, Henry Calleo, Angelo Carlini,
William Coddington, Joshua Cortes, Daniel Dimock, Albert Durkee, Zachary
Eckhardt, Jack Goosman, Matthew Goyden, Ryan Gregory, Daniel Guilfoyle,
Thomas Guilfoyle, Samuel Haddock, Bailey Hanrahan, Jameson Hanrahan,
Ryan Klein, Jordan Klym, Mason Krise, Michael Kuhl, Alex Kuzel, Jonathan
Langton, Julian Layton, Zachary Mayer, Colby Mayer, Sean McAvoy, Jr.,
Patrick McCullough, Nathan Medina, Brennan O'Boyle, Collin Oliver,
Benjamin Owen, Josiah Pearson, Jr., Dean Plaskon, Harold Rahner, Erik
Roma, Christian Rosa, Trenton Scull, Trey Shepardson, Parker Stokes,
Cole Tinklepaugh, Ceferino Velez Mattiace, Nestor Velez Mattiace, and
Connor Verity; Head Coach Chris Verity; Assistant Coach Andy Krise and

Diving Coach Tiffany Trowbridge upon the occasion of winning the Section
IV Class B Swimming and Diving Championship; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the members of the Maine-Endwell High School, Head Coach
Chris Verity, Assistant Coach Andy Krise and Diving Coach Tiffany
Trowbridge.
