HONORING Focused Wealth Management upon the
occasion of its designation as recipient of the
Corporate Bell Award by the Mental Health
Association in Orange County, Inc.
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to honor those
businesses within the State of New York which distinguish themselves
through outstanding professional behavior, corporate innovation, and
enduring commitment to the community; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Focused Wealth Management upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Corporate Bell Award by the Mental Health Association
in Orange County, Inc., to be celebrated at its Silver Ball on Saturday,
March 11, 2017, at Falkirk Estate and Country Club, Central Valley, New
York; and
WHEREAS, Mental Health Association in Orange County, Inc. (MHA)
seeks to promote the positive mental health and emotional well-being of
Orange County residents, working towards reducing the stigma of mental
illness, developmental disabilities, and providing support to victims of
sexual assault and other crimes; and
WHEREAS, Focused Wealth Management (FWM) was founded in 1994, as an
investment management firm servicing clients in the individual,
corporate, public, endowment and foundation marketplace; since 2013, MHA
has enjoyed a successful and productive relationship with this vital
corporation; and
WHEREAS, With a hands on approach to asset management, Focused
Wealth Management's collective experience provides more than 125 years
of individual talent and market history, enabling them to better service
and manage their client's diverse financial needs; and
WHEREAS, A stanch supporter of MHA, Focused Wealth Management
regularly attends such events as the Autism Move-A-Thon, Silver Ball,
Golf Tournament, Annual Meeting, and Volunteers/Community Service Awards
Recognition Ceremony; and
WHEREAS, Under the able leadership of Charles Yarnold, Vice
President of Wealth Management and Retirement Plan Services and Jacob
Brett, Vice President of Wealth Management, Focused Wealth Management
has been steadfast in its support to MHA's employees and board members;
and
WHEREAS, Focused Wealth Management provides a level of service to
MHA that is unmatched in today's business environment, as they combine
their excellent services with a special brand of sensitivity and care;
the company fully embraces MHA's mission and helps promote its services
throughout the community; and
WHEREAS, Through its unwavering commitment to MHA, Focused Wealth
Management has been instrumental in helping those organizations which
add tremendous value to the lives of others, as well as enriching the
communities around them; and
WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body that those
organizations which enhance the well-being and vitality of their
community and have shown a long and sustained commitment to excellence
certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Focused Wealth Management upon the occasion of its designation as
recipient of the Corporate Bell Award by the Mental Health Association
in Orange County, Inc.; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Focused Wealth Management.
