HONORING Victoria Carosella Baecker upon the
occasion of her designation for special recognition
by Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region
on September 29, 2016
WHEREAS, It is incumbent upon the people of the State of New York to
recognize and acknowledge those within our midst who have made
significant contributions to the quality of life therein; and
WHEREAS, From time to time this Legislative Body takes note of
certain extraordinary individuals it wishes to recognize for their
valued contributions to the success and progress of society and publicly
acknowledge their endeavors which have enhanced the basic humanity among
us all; and
WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Victoria
Carosella Baecker upon the occasion of her designation for special
recognition by Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital Region, to be
celebrated at its FUEL HER FIRE event on Thursday, September 29, 2016,
at 90 State Events, Albany, New York; and
WHEREAS, Victoria Carosella Baecker is the Community Relations &
Corporate Events Manager at CDPHP; in this capacity she is responsible
for the coordination and execution of charitable giving for CDPHP, as
well as acting as its community liaison; and
WHEREAS, Additionally, Victoria Carosella Baecker provides support
for this vital organization's special events, including the CDPHP
Workforce Team Challenge, Charity of Choice fundraising events,
contributing to the CDPHP blog on a regular basis, and more; and
WHEREAS, Prior to joining CDPHP, Victoria Carosella Baecker served
as Director of Communications & Business Development at Bouchey
Financial Group, Ltd. and Bouchey & Clarke Benefits, Inc., as well as
Director of Development at the YWCA of the Greater Capital Region, Inc.;
and
WHEREAS, Victoria Carosella Baecker holds a Bachelor of Arts degree
in Theatre from Russell Sage College and a Master of Science degree in
Organizational Management from The Sage Colleges; she is also a 2012
graduate of the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce
Leadership Institute; and
WHEREAS, A true asset to the local community, Victoria Carosella
Baecker has volunteered her time with the American Heart Association,
the Palace Theatre, the Commission on Economic Opportunity (CEO),
Trinity Alliance, Capital Roots, and Unity House; and
WHEREAS, Most recently, along with two associates, Victoria
Carosella Baecker started a Learn to Golf Group for women looking to
learn golf for the purposes of business; and
WHEREAS, With her throughout have been her two daughters, Eleanor
and Charlotte, both of whom feel privileged to be a part of her life and
rejoice in her achievements; and
WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Victoria Carosella Baecker
has displayed throughout her life; and
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Victoria Carosella Baecker upon the occasion of her designation
for special recognition by Girls Incorporated of the Greater Capital
Region on September 29, 2016; and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Victoria Carosella Baecker.
