COMMENDING Lenny's Tire Service upon the occasion
of its designation as the 2016 Business of the Year
by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to take note of
and publicly recognize those businesses within the State of New York
which have positively impacted their communities; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Lenny's Tire Service upon the occasion of its designation as the
2016 Business of the Year by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce,
to be celebrated at its Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony on Friday,
March 31, 2017, at the Red Barn Clubhouse, Cobleskill, New York; and
WHEREAS, Established by Leonard "Lenny" and Joan Coons in 1967,
Lenny's Tire Service is located on State Route 30 in Middleburgh, New
York; and
WHEREAS, The local source for tire and automotive needs, Lenny's
Tire Service has been family owned and operated for five decades; and
WHEREAS, Lenny's Tire Service offers a wide selection of tires from
the most trusted tire brands, and makes them available to its customers
at competitive prices; furthermore, its experienced tire experts take
the stress out of tire shopping with knowledgeable assistance and great
service; and
WHEREAS, The trusted technicians at Lenny's Tire Service are highly
skilled ASE certified, thoroughly trained and experienced in the care of
a wide range of vehicles; and
WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to its
community, Lenny's Tire Service serves as a respected neighbor and
trusted business, providing its customers with honest evaluations, the
best products, excellent service, and a fair price; and
WHEREAS, Over its distinguished 50 year history, Lenny's Tire
Service has demonstrated continuous service to the residents and
communities which it serves; and
WHEREAS, The success of Lenny's Tire Service is in direct
correlation to the efforts of its staff, whose involvement is, and
always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled
enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all
endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and
WHEREAS, This auspicious occasion presents an opportunity for this
Legislative Body to recognize and pay tribute to Lenny's Tire Service;
and
WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Lenny's Tire Service upon the occasion of its designation as the
2016 Business of the Year by the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce;
and be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Lenny's Tire Service.
