HONORING Baltz Concrete Construction, Inc. upon
the occasion of its designation as recipient of the
2017 Business of the Year Award by the Genesee
County Chamber of Commerce

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize that
the quality and character of life in the communities across New York
State are enhanced by the concerned and dedicated efforts of business
organizations and individuals that generously contribute to the welfare
of the community and its citizenry; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Baltz Concrete Construction, Inc. upon the occasion of its designation
as recipient of the 2017 Business of the Year Award by the Genesee
County Chamber of Commerce to be celebrated at its 46th Annual Awards
Ceremony on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Quality Inn & Suites in
Batavia, New York; and

WHEREAS, Baltz Concrete Construction, Inc. is receiving this
auspicious award for its demonstrated growth and commitment to Genesee
County; and

WHEREAS, Founded in 1972 by Robert Baltz, this family-owned business
has been a fixture in Pavilion, New York, for almost five decades;
today, this thriving company is owned and operated by Bob's two sons,
Thomas and Nicholas Baltz; and

WHEREAS, Through the years, Baltz Concrete Construction, Inc. has
provided concrete services for numerous projects in Genesee County, many
of the retail, office, industrial, and public works buildings in the
Western New York area have been constructed with the help of this vital
company; and

WHEREAS, Dedicated to its community, Baltz Concrete Construction,
Inc. has supported many worthy organizations in the town of Pavilion
such as the Genesee County Chamber of Commerce, and the Michael Napoleon
Foundation; and

WHEREAS, The success of Baltz Concrete Construction, Inc. is in
direct correlation to the efforts of its 50 employees, whose involvement
is, and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an
unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in
all endeavors on behalf of the institution and the community it serves;
and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will thrive and enjoy
sparkling success; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Baltz Concrete Construction, Inc. upon the occasion of its

designation as recipient of the 2017 Business of the Year Award by the
Genesee County Chamber of Commerce; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Thomas and Nicholas Baltz, Owners, Baltz Concrete
Construction, Inc.
