MOURNING the death of Alan William Jr.,
distinguished citizen and devoted member of his
community

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to pay tribute to
citizens of the State of New York whose lifework and civic endeavor
served to enhance the quality of life in their communities and the great
State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Alan William Jr. of Harlem, New York, died on March 21,
2019, at the age of 65; and

WHEREAS, Born on October 15, 1953, Alan William Jr. was truly a
loving brother, father, husband, and grandfather; and

WHEREAS, Alan William Jr. distinguished himself in his profession
and by his sincere dedication and substantial contribution to the
welfare of his community; and

WHEREAS, Alan William Jr. was born and raised in his beloved Harlem;
he was employed as a laborer for many years; and

WHEREAS, For his commitment to both his family and the community,
this extraordinary man will be forever remembered in the hearts of many;
now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
mourn the death of Alan William Jr. and offer its sincerest condolences
to his family; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Alan William Jr.
