COMMENDING Khalilah A. Webster upon the occasion
of being named a 2019 Hall of Fame Honoree by Making
the Impossible Possible, Inc. on May 26, 2019

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commend Khalilah A. Webster upon the occasion of being named a 2019 Hall
of Fame Honoree by Making the Impossible Possible, Inc., to be
celebrated at its 8th Annual Power of Partnerships, Scholarship and Hall
of Fame Gala on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at the BRIC Arts Media, Brooklyn,
New York; and

WHEREAS, Founded in 2001, Making the Impossible Possible, Inc.
(MIPO) is a non-profit membership organization, promoting the quality of
life of Haitian youth in the United States and abroad through education,
music, character building, medical care, apprenticeship training, family
support and scholarships; and

WHEREAS, As CEO/Business Strategist and Media Producer, Khalilah A.
Webster is a dynamic media practitioner holding expertise in the areas
of Television & Film Production, Screenwriting, Acting, and Modeling;
she is also an accomplished entrepreneur owning two education consulting
firms and is co-founder/board member for two emerging not-for-profit
organizations; and

WHEREAS, Her diverse professional experience has made her the
ultimate connector, allowing her to deliver value and results in every
arena she steps into; her newest venture is the launch of her new book
SheWins: A Womanpreneurs Guide to Mastering the Business Life Balance,
which demonstrates her desire to educate, elevate, and inspire the
entrepreneurial woman; and

WHEREAS, Today, Khalilah A. Webster is the Executive Director of the
Open Door Arts-in-Education Project (ODAEP), an education enrichment
service provider that delivers unique T.E.A.M. Up! programs (Technology,
Entrepreneurship, Arts, & Media) to more than 70 schools nationwide; and

WHEREAS, She is also the Managing Partner and Director of Media at
Vanguarde Consulting Group, and Founder/Executive Director of
www.hollywoodfab.io and Executive Producer of ODAEP's Urban Block
Party-Anti-Bullying/Stop-the-Violence in Schools Concert Tour, which has
garnered critical acclaim across New York City, while serving more than
10,000 students since 2013; and

WHEREAS, It has always been the objective of this Legislative Body
to honor and support those individuals who have displayed their
commitment to the betterment of their communities, and it is the intent

of this Legislative Body to inscribe upon its records, this tribute to
Khalilah A. Webster, that future generations may know and appreciate her
admirable character, her many benevolent deeds, and the respect and
esteem in which she is held by her peers; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commend Khalilah A. Webster upon the occasion of being named a 2019 Hall
of Fame Honoree by Making the Impossible Possible, Inc. on May 26, 2019;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Khalilah A. Webster.
