COMMEMORATING the 20th Anniversary of Camkids
Pediatrics, PC on June 30, 2019

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to commend those
organizations and individuals that work to serve the health care needs
of citizens of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Camkids Pediatrics, PC to be
celebrated at an event on Sunday, June 30, 2019; and

WHEREAS, In August of 1999, Dr. Marie-Paule Dupiton, board certified
physician and Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatricians, opened a
private practice to serve the children and families in her local
community; and

WHEREAS, Through Dr. Marie-Paule Dupiton's stellar leadership,
visionary growth and development, her practice has turned into a leading
pediatric institution and community center serving children and families
of Southeast Queens and surrounding areas; in 2003, Camkids Pediatrics
was officially incorporated; and

WHEREAS, In 2014, Camkids Pediatrics earned the highest level of
accreditation given by the National Committee of Quality Assurance, and
has also been designated a Patient Centered Medical Home; and

WHEREAS, Today, Camkids Pediatrics continues to render superior
services to approximately 10,000 children through 11 core service
offerings: newborn care, well child care from birth through age 21
years, annual physical, adolescent health, school, work and camp
physicals, immunization updates, same day sick visits, allergy and
asthma care, chronic care, wellness clinic and mental health; and

WHEREAS, Camkids Pediatrics also offers four specialty clinics:
Asthma, Allergies, Weight management (Body Smart) and Behavior and Mood
related issues; and

WHEREAS, Under the luminous leadership of Founder and CEO Dr.
Marie-Paule Dupiton, Camkids Pediatrics consists of a highly-qualified
team of three Board Certified doctors and Fellows of the American
Academy of Pediatricians, a nurse practitioner, physician assistant and
social worker specializing in mental health counseling along with
several other clinical and professional staff; and

WHEREAS, This kid-friendly practice boasts state of the art
technology from electronic check in through check out; patients can view
their health-related data and obtain results via its online portal while
enjoying the benefit of extended hours Monday through Saturday to
accommodate working parents; moreover, Camkids Pediatrics maintains a
significant online presence on the world-wide web, Facebook, Instagram
and Twitter; and

WHEREAS, For the last 20 years, Camkids Pediatrics has stayed true
to its mission of providing superior quality health care to the
residents of Southeast Queens, and pledges to work hard to maintain a
high standard of excellence in care its community will be proud of; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body recognizes the vital importance of
Camkids Pediatrics, PC in providing excellence in care through
prevention, education and treatment, and its evident commitment to this
mission; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Camkids Pediatrics, PC on June 30,
2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Dr. Marie-Paule Dupiton, Founder/CEO, Camkids Pediatrics,
PC.
