HONORING Max Yurenda of Double H Ranch upon the
occasion of being named the 2018 Community Champion
by the Hudson Headwaters Health Foundation
WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and
WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Max Yurenda of Double H Ranch upon the occasion of being named the 2018
Community Champion by the Hudson Headwaters Health Foundation at its
13th Annual Community Champions Celebration on Sunday, August 26, 2018,
at Point O'Pines, Brant Lake, New York; and
WHEREAS, The Community Champions Celebration is an annual event
which honors individuals, families and businesses that help make our
region a healthy and dynamic place to live, work and play; and
WHEREAS, Max Yurenda's sustaining leadership as CEO and Executive
Director of Double H Ranch is a testament to the power of purpose and
vision; he truly exemplifies what it means to make a difference; and
WHEREAS, With his proven business leadership abilities and his
evident dedication to his community, Max Yurenda is the quintessential
selection for the prestigious Community Champion; and
WHEREAS, Family owned businesses such as Double H Ranch exert a
strong, positive influence on the communities they serve and are a
crucial element in the economy of New York State; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Max Yurenda of Double H Ranch upon the occasion of being named the
2018 Community Champion by the Hudson Headwaters Health Foundation; and
be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Max Yurenda of Double H Ranch.
