MOURNING the death of Pastor Lelea Ida Amacker,
distinguished citizen, religious leader and devoted
member of her community

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to bring full
recognition and just tribute to those men and women of religious
commitment who accept the responsibility of moral leadership and render
the wisdom of human understanding; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is moved to mourn the death of Pastor
Lelea Ida Amacker who died on Wednesday, June 27, 2018; and

WHEREAS, This distinguished woman of God always gave guidance and
wisdom to the many entrusted to her care and administered abundantly and
unstintingly to the spiritual and corporal needs of all; and

WHEREAS, Armed with a humanistic spirit and imbued with a sense of
compassion, Pastor Lelea Ida Amacker leaves behind a legacy which will
long endure the passage of time and will remain as a comforting memory
to all she served and befriended; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor the life and accomplishments of Pastor Lelea Ida Amacker, and to
express its deepest condolences to her family, colleagues and friends
who mourn her passing; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to the family of Pastor Lelea Ida Amacker.
