HONORING Erica Spencer upon the occasion of her
designation as recipient of the 2018 Rising Star
Award by the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce on
January 18, 2019

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses that contribute
substantially to the economic vitality of their communities, thereby
enhancing economic well-being of the entire Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to honor
Erica Spencer upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the
2018 Rising Star Award by the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce, to be
celebrated at its Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Friday, January
18, 2019, at Club 86 in Geneva, New York; and

WHEREAS, A resident of Waterloo, New York, Erica Spencer earned her
master's degree in Science and Acupuncture from the Finger Lakes School
of Acupuncture at NYCC; after graduation, she established a practice at
a local business in Waterloo where she was able to acquire and build up
a patient profile; and

WHEREAS, After a year or so, Erica Spencer opened her own storefront
in downtown Waterloo; within the first few months, she doubled her
patient load, and consequently, acquired another acupuncturist to
accommodate the schedules of her many loyal patients; and

WHEREAS, Erica Spencer truly has a passion for what she does, and
looks forward to continuing to help and better the lives of the
residents of her community; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that those who
enhance the quality of life in their community and have shown a long and
sustained commitment to the maintenance of high standards in their
profession, certainly have earned the recognition and applause of all
the citizens of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Erica Spencer upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of
the 2018 Rising Star Award by the Seneca County Chamber of Commerce on
January 18, 2019; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Erica Spencer.
