HONORING Ron Anderluh upon the occasion of his
designation as recipient of the 2019 Chairman's
Award by the Niagara USA Chamber

WHEREAS, Individuals who give of their time and energies and serve
the best interests of their communities are an asset beyond remuneration
and cannot be sufficiently extolled; and

WHEREAS, Ron Anderluh has given not only of his time and energies
but also of his competence, intelligence and leadership and consequently
has been designated for special recognition; and

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body is justly proud to honor Ron Anderluh
upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of the 2019 Chairman's
Award by the Niagara USA Chamber to be celebrated at its 2019 Awards
Ceremony at the Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Niagara Falls, New York,
on Friday, March 15, 2019; and

WHEREAS, The Niagara USA Chamber is proud to celebrate business
excellence in the Niagara Region; and

WHEREAS, As one of the longest-serving board members in the history
of the Niagara USA Chamber, Ron Anderluh has worked tirelessly for 50
years to improve the city of Niagara Falls; and

WHEREAS, After a successful career in property and retail
management, Ron Anderluh jumped right in to advocating full-time for the
residents of Niagara Falls through Niagara Street Neighborhood
Revitalization, the Rotary Club, Parkway Condominiums Board of Managers,
and the Francis Center; and

WHEREAS, Many rely on Ron Anderluh to offer respectful, public
commentary before the Niagara Falls City Council and are unaware of the
months and months he spends in behind-the-scenes department meetings so,
when he does speak publicly, his words can provide key direction for the
growth of his beloved community; and

WHEREAS, With his proven leadership abilities and his devotion to
the Niagara Falls community, Ron Anderluh is the quintessential
selection for the prestigious Chairman's Award; and

WHEREAS, Rare indeed is the impressive dedication shown by an
individual for the benefit of others which Ron Anderluh has displayed
throughout his life; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Ron Anderluh upon the occasion of his designation as recipient of
the 2019 Chairman's Award by the Niagara USA Chamber; and be it further


RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Ron Anderluh.
