COMMEMORATING the 65th Anniversary of King Pin
Lanes of Rome, New York

WHEREAS, It is the custom of this Legislative Body to recognize
those small businesses within the State of New York which contribute to
the economic health and vitality of the communities they serve; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern, and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 65th Anniversary of King Pin Lanes of Rome, New York, to
be celebrated with a Bowling Bonanza on Sunday, August 29, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Located on East Dominick Street in Rome, New York, King Pin
Lanes has proudly served the Mohawk Valley with family fun recreation
and high-class bowling for more than six decades; and

WHEREAS, The tradition of bringing family and friends together is
alive and well at King Pin Lanes, creating countless moments and
memories that will last a lifetime, one frame at a time; and

WHEREAS, Whether you are looking for a night of fun, a place for
your next party or even a new hobby, King Pin Lanes welcomes everyone,
regardless of background, age or ability; and

WHEREAS, Small businesses such as King Pin Lanes exert a strong,
positive influence on the communities they serve and are a crucial
element in the economy of New York State; and

WHEREAS, The success of King Pin Lanes is in direct correlation to
the efforts of its Owner Craig Vogel, General Manager Joe Clarke, Pro
Shop Owner John Knight, and its dedicated staff, whose involvement is,
and always has been, characterized by an impressive commitment, an
unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in
all endeavors on behalf of the business and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business and its contributions to the
local and State economies, fully confident that it will continue to
enjoy the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now,
therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 65th Anniversary of King Pin Lanes, and to wish them
continued success in all their future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to King Pin Lanes.
