CONGRATULATING Mike Kimmel upon the occasion of
his retirement after 46 years of distinguished
service to Revere Copper Products

WHEREAS, This Legislative Body seeks to acknowledge those
individuals whose professional lives and civic endeavors serve to
enhance the stature of the State of New York; and

WHEREAS, For the past 46 years, Mike Kimmel of Rome, New York,
rendered faithful, conscientious, and valuable service to Revere Copper
Products; and

WHEREAS, Throughout his lengthy and respected career, Mike Kimmel
held various leadership positions, including Bar Mill Supervisor,
Rolling Mill Superintendent, Plant Manager, Senior Process Engineer,
Production Control Manager, and Human Resources Manager, the esteemed
role from which he will officially retire; and

WHEREAS, In his official acts, Mike Kimmel was governed by a keen
sense of duty and always showed a unique grasp of human problems; he has
obtained a wide breadth of knowledge learned from his experience in
numerous roles at Revere Copper Products, making him an invaluable asset
to their team; and

WHEREAS, In his capacity as Human Resources Manager over the last
six years, Mike Kimmel hired the next generation of Revere Copper
employees; he was also instrumental in building and maintaining
collaborative business relationships; in addition, he successfully
negotiated the last three labor agreements; and

WHEREAS, During his tenure with Revere Copper Products, Mike Kimmel
earned the admiration, esteem, and affection of his colleagues; and

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body that when
individuals of such noble aims and accomplishments are brought to our
attention, they should be celebrated and recognized by all the citizens
of this great Empire State; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
honor Mike Kimmel upon the occasion of his retirement after 46 years of
distinguished service, and to wish him continued success in all his
future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Mike Kimmel.
