COMMEMORATING the 20th Anniversary of Tours By
Design, Inc. of Hinckley, New York

WHEREAS, It is the sense of this Legislative Body to recognize the
achievements of those individuals and businesses which substantially
contribute to the economic vitality of their communities and the entire
Empire State; and

WHEREAS, Attendant to such concern and in full accord with its
long-standing traditions, this Legislative Body is justly proud to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Tours By Design, Inc. of Hinckley,
New York; and

WHEREAS, Tours By Design offers several individual bus tours which
depart from Central New York, including Rome, Utica and Herkimer to
various destinations throughout the country; its customized group tours
are designed with a group leader and offer sample itineraries; and

WHEREAS, Owner and President of Tours By Design, Carol Hamlin
Buczek, CTIS, has more than 25 years of experience as a tour coordinator
and continues to strive to offer the very best in customer service; and

WHEREAS, In addition to being a member of the American Bus
Association, Tours By Design is a proud member of the Forestport, New
Hartford, Rome, Trenton and Herkimer County Chambers of Commerce; and

WHEREAS, With a steadfast and unwavering commitment to its
community, this vital business supports countless local organizations
and events, and its owner is a long-time member of the Mohawk Valley
Business Women's Network; and

WHEREAS, Furthermore, Carol Hamlin Buczek has been actively involved
with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life and Making Strides
Against Breast Cancer programs; and

WHEREAS, Throughout its distinguished 20-year history, Tours By
Design has continued to learn about new places and activities for its
customers to enjoy throughout the United States; and

WHEREAS, The success of Tours By Design is in direct correlation to
the efforts of its Owner and President Carol Hamlin Buczek and its
dedicated staff, whose involvement is, and always has been,
characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and
an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of
the organization and the community it serves; and

WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that this Legislative Body
acknowledges this exceptional business, its contributions to the local
and state economies, and its vibrant role in improving the quality of
life in its community, fully confident that it will continue to enjoy
the sparkling successes it has experienced thus far; now, therefore, be
it

RESOLVED, That this Legislative Body pause in its deliberations to
commemorate the 20th Anniversary of Tours By Design, Inc. of Hinckley,
New York; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution, suitably engrossed, be
transmitted to Carol Hamlin Buczek, President and Owner, Tours By
Design, Inc.
