(Albany, NY)- State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/C/I-Mt. Hope) was pleased to join friends and neighbors this past Sunday at a retirement ceremony for Dick Martinkovic, which was held at the Liberty Firehouse. Martinkovic is retiring after 38 years serving as the Sullivan County Public Safety Commissioner and Fire Coordinator. Prior to his service with the County, Martinkovic served as a Village Trustee, a Town Councilman, and a Town Supervisor in the Town of Liberty. Senator Bonacic presented Mr. Martinkovic with a Senate Resolution honoring his career of service.
