During the hearings members of the Legislature’s fiscal committees will hear testimony from top Cuomo administration officials, state agency heads, local leaders, and representatives of the wide range of stakeholders impacted by the state’s annual budget.

Albany, N.Y., February 25–State Senator Tom O’Mara (R,C,I-Big Flats), Ranking Member on the Senate Finance Committee, reminded area residents this year’s joint Senate-Assembly hearings on Governor Andrew Cuomo’s proposed 2021-2022 New York State are underway throughout the month of February.

O’Mara was named the top Republican on the Finance Committee in late December by Senate Republican Leader Rob Ortt.

A series of 13 joint Senate-Assembly budget hearings will conclude today with a virtual forum beginning at 9:30 a.m. examining Cuomo’s proposals for Health.  It can be viewed HERE.
