Web Analytics Report 3/28/10 - 4/10/10

The live webcasting has drawn just over 568620 views since it’s adoption and the archived footage has followed that growth very closely. The NYSenate Youtube channel's attention has slightly outpaced Livestream with 566496 overall visits. The short clips on the NYSenate Youtube account are about 16 times more watched than the full videos of session and events posted on the nysenateuncut account.

The number of Senators using Twitter remained the same since the last report, however the number of Facebook Fans dropped significantly (4,453) since the last report. This was due to a single Senator’s decision to drop his Facebook account. The Senators now reach a total of 22343 people through Facebook and 10507 through Twitter. The NYSenate account itself currently reaches over 3500 people through it’s Twitter account.
