A proposed community center in Danby is getting a $25,000 boost from the state for its planning and consulting expenses, State Senator James L. Seward said today. Seward is to announce the award at ground-breaking ceremony on Monday, September 12 at 4 pm at the proposed site of the center in Danby. Seward represents the Town of Danby in the state senate.
"The park association looking to create a center to accommodate community meetings, recreational activities, senior citizen services and youth programs, and I applaud the energy and vision of local officials and the park association," Senator James L.
