John J. Bonacic

March 13, 2005

State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C - Mount Hope) met with members of the New York Apple Association in his Albany office early in March. Mr. Douglas Minard, Vice President of W.G. Minard & Sons, discussed with Senator Bonacic the State’s economic and agricultural issues that impact apple growers in the Hudson Valley.

"New York State ranks second in the United States in apple production. Obviously, apples and their producers are a crucial part of our economy. It is important for us, as legislators, to hear the concerns of our local growers," stated Senator Bonacic.
