Bonacic Named To Serve On Seven Senate Committees

State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C - Mount Hope) was appointed today to serve as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing, Construction, and Community Development as requested. This will be his 5th term as Chairman. He was also appointed to serve, as requested, on the following Senate Standing Committees: Banks; Codes; Commerce, Economic Development & Small Business; Investigations & Governmental Operations; Judiciary; Labor; and Local Government.

"I am pleased to continue to serve the people of New York in my capacity as Chairman of the Senate Committee on Housing, Construction & Community Development. Affordable housing in New York State is critical to the health and well-being of our communities and I look forward to working to provide innovative solutions to this growing problem," stated Senator Bonacic.

Senator Bonacic continued, "The budgetary and legislative work of all of the Committees that I serve on as a member are important to not only the people in New York State, but particularly important to the people of the 42nd Senate District."
