Pataki And Nozzolio Announce Funding For Downtown Improvement Projects In Cayuga And Tompkins Counties

The New York Main Street Program provides matching grants for facade and interior building renovations, streetscape enhancement to improve lighting, landscaping and signage and to install street furniture, and for communities to establish a business or cultural anchor in their downtown.

The Main Street New York Downtown Development Program is a competitive grant program open to all counties, cities, towns and villages in the State. The program funds activities that will result in a benefit to the general public, improvement in the viability of downtown commercial areas and will help to further development and community improvement projects within those communities.
