NYS Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz To Participate In Massive Demonstration

Ruben Diaz

April 27, 2007

On Saturday, April 28 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM, New York State Senator Reverend Ruben Diaz (D-Bronx) will rally against abortion and same-sex marriage on the steps of City Hall in Elizabeth, New Jersey, located at 50 Winfield Scott Plaza.

The demonstration will include members of the New York Hispanic Clergy Coalition, Evangelical Christians and other Americans who pledge to build momentum to organize religious leaders and people of faith to City Halls throughout the tri-state area and raise their voices on pro-life and pro-family matters.

"The April 28th rally is the beginning of a movement that will encourage Americans to not be afraid of professing their faith and standing up for their beliefs," stated Senator Rev. Ruben Diaz. "We will rally to defend the lives of unborn children, and we will rally to defend the legal, moral and traditional definition of marriage between a man and a woman. This rally is the first of many more to follow."
