Senate Passes Fuschillo Resolution Honoring Massapequa Park Eagle Scout

Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.

July 03, 2012

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that the New York State Senate recently passed a legislative resolution he sponsored honoring Massapequa Park resident Christian Wolfe for attaining the rank of Eagle Scout.

“Earning scouting’s highest rank is an achievement that only a select few ever attain. Through years of hard work and community service, Christian has distinguished himself as a leader who is more than worthy to be called an Eagle Scout. I congratulate him on earning this honor and am pleased that his accomplishment was recognized by the New York State Senate,” said Senator Fuschillo.

A member of Troop 339, Christian has devoted years to serving the community and working towards scouting’s highest rank, including completion of a community service project. Christian’s project was to beautify the shoreline along the Massapequa Reservoir next to Brady Park by building landscape boxes around two new benches and refurbishing deteriorating boxes around two older benches.

With the Senate passage of this legislative resolution, Christian’s name and achievement will forever be part of the New York State Senate’s official record.
