Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently congratulated Merrick resident Robert Kroll on being appointed to the MTA Inspector General Management Advisory Board. Mr. Kroll was appointed by Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos at the recommendation of Senator Fuschillo.
Members of the MTA Inspector General Advisory Board assist and work with the MTA Inspector General’s Office in its mission to provide independent oversight of the MTA and its subsidiary agencies, including the Long Island Rail Road.
Mr. Kroll brings a wealth of experience to his new position. He previously served as a member of the New York State Public Transportation Safety Board and also worked as a part-time counsel to former Senator Norman Levy, focusing on transportation-related issues. In addition to his government service, Mr. Kroll is a licensed attorney who has been practicing law for over 50 years. Locally, Mr. Kroll has been actively involved in a number of professional and community organizations over the years, holding leadership positions in the Bar Association of Nassau County, the Merrick Jewish Centre, the Merrick Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Merrick-Bellmore, and the Mepham High School Alumni Association.
